4. Roland OnSupport Setup

Roland OnSupport Setup

Procedure
1. Displaying Roland OnSupport

Double-click (Roland OnSupport icon) in the tasktray, or right-click the icon and then click [Open]. Roland OnSupport will be displayed on the screen.
If you cannot find in the tasktray, activate it from the start menu of Windows.

2. Set the display language.

1. From the menu bar, click [Edit] - [Preference].

The [Preference] window appears.

Click [General] tab.

Choose your language from [Language].

Click [OK].


3. Verify connection to the Roland OnSupport server.

Connected

When the globe image linked to a computer is displayed, your computer is connected to the Roland OnSupport server.


Disconnected

When the image of "?" on the globe image or is displayed, your computer is not connected to the Roland OnSupport server.

If you cannot create the connection, check your proxy settings or consult your network administrator.

4. Configure the mail server.

This task is required for performing the steps in the following procedure, "Logging in to Roland OnSupport." Make sure to configure the settings.

1. From the menu bar, click [Edit] - [Preference].

The [Preference] window appears.

Click [Mail Server] tab.

Select the [Use Roland DG Mail server] check box.

Click [OK].
