Driver for the Projector Does Not Operate Correctly

If the projector driver is not recognized, carry out the following procedure.

Windows 11/10 (version 1607 or later)

1. Connect the computer to the network, turn on the machine, and then connect it to the computer with a USB cable.

2. Right-click the [Start] button, and then click [Device Manager].
"Device Manager" appears.

3. Check whether "USB Projector" is displayed under "Display adapters." If "USB Projector" is displayed, perform steps 4 and 5. If not, perform steps 6 and 7.

4-1. Windows 11: On the [Start] menu, click [Settings]. Then, click [Display] in the [System] window.

4-2. Windows 10: On the [Start] menu, click [Settings].

5. If "Multiple displays" is set to "Extend these displays," uninstall and re-install the projector driver.

If "Multiple displays" is not set to "Extend these displays," change the setting to "Extend these displays."

6. Click [Control Panel], and then click [Uninstall a Program].

7. Confirm that "DisplayLink Core Software," "DisplayLink Graphics," and "DisplayLink Graphics Driver” are not present.
If "DisplayLink Core Software," "DisplayLink Graphics," or "DisplayLink Graphics Driver" is present, the projector may not operate.
Uninstall any of these programs that are present, disconnect the USB cable, and then reconnect the cable.

Windows 10 (before version 1607)

1. Connect the machine to the computer with the USB cable and turn on the machine.

2. Right-click the [Start] button, and then click [Device Manager].
"Device Manager" appears.

3. Check whether "USB Projector" is displayed under "USB Display Adapters." If "USB Projector" is displayed, perform steps 4 and 5. If not, perform steps 6 to 8.

4. Click [Control Panel] and then [Adjust Screen Resolution].

5. If "Multiple displays" is set to "Extend these displays," uninstall and re-install the projector driver.

6. Click [Control Panel], and then click [Uninstall a Program].

7. Look for "DisplayLink Core Software" and "DisplayLink Graphics."
If neither "DisplayLink Core Software" nor "DisplayLink Graphics" is shown, the projector driver has not been installed. Install the driver.

8. Make sure that the USB cable is connected. If there is no problem with the connection but "USB Display Adapters" is still not shown, uninstall the driver for the projector and install it again.
